WeNet - internet of us

About

WeNet is a project under the research funding scheme “Future and Emerging Technologies” (FET).

Diversity is part of our everyday life. Technology, despite its evolution, still cannot develop and maintain social relationships that transcend geographical and cultural backgrounds.
Tech giants such as Google or Facebook can help us connect and communicate with other people, but these social networks are built by similarity and this is why we end up talking in our own little universe, missing the big opportunity to learn from “diverse others” and to discover them as a resource.

WeNet (www.internetofus.eu) is an ongoing European project addressing this gap and currently working on a social network of ‘us’, which wishes to support collaborative communities, where diversity can really add value.

My role

As part of the WeNet consortium, I’ve been working closely with a multidisciplinary team, composed of 15 partners from Europe, Israel, India, Mongolia, Paraguay, Mexico and China.

My main tasks:
– Conducting UX research to identify critical topics and inform the development of the scenarios.
– Building Personas, User Journeys, Blueprints, and Use Cases for D&R activities
– Planning and organising preparatory experiments to investigate specific aspects of the final solution
